On December 9th, Zhang Longqiang, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the Metallurgical Industry Information Standards Research Institute, and his delegation visited Luli Group. Zhang Dongguang, Deputy Mayor of Shouguang City, Xue Mingliang, Secretary of the Party Committee of Luli Group, Fu Shigang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Metallurgical Division of Luli Group, Guo Dong, General Manager of the Metallurgical Division of Luli Group, and other leaders warmly received them. The two sides had in-depth exchanges on industrial policies, high-quality development and special consulting, low information construction, standard formulation, technological innovation and other topics.

On December 10th, Dean Zhang Longqiang and his team conducted on-site inspections and research in the metallurgical sector of Luli Group. Accompanied by Chairman Fu Shigang, Dean Zhang Longqiang and his team successively visited forging production lines, hot-rolled seamless steel pipe production lines, precision new material production lines, large seamless production lines, and HIsmelt smelting reduction production lines, focusing on understanding the technological innovation and application achievements in the production of large-diameter seamless steel pipes, as well as the historic breakthroughs achieved after the iteration and upgrading of HIsmelt smelting reduction technology.

After the visit, both sides had a discussion and exchange on the current status of intelligent manufacturing development, future industry trends, and deepening cooperation. At the symposium, Secretary Xue Mingliang warmly welcomed Dean Zhang Longqiang and his delegation, and introduced the development process and industrial layout of Luli Group. He expressed the hope that through this exchange, cooperation in policy research, standard setting, technological innovation, and other fields can be further strengthened to assist the group company in achieving high-quality development during the 15th Five Year Plan period.

Dean Zhang Longqiang fully affirmed the achievements of Luli Group in high-end seamless steel pipe manufacturing, HIsmelt technology innovation, and green and low-carbon transformation, and put forward multiple cooperation suggestions based on the high-quality development requirements of the steel industry and the current situation of equipment intelligent upgrading, as well as the advantages and experiences of both parties. He pointed out that the metallurgical industry is currently facing a critical period of industrial restructuring, green and low-carbon development, and digital transformation. The Metallurgical Industry Information Standards Research Institute has professional advantages in industrial policy research, standard system construction, information consulting services, and hopes to deepen cooperation with Luli Group to jointly promote industry progress.
