Chairman Wu Liyun introduced the business layout and overall development of Shougang International, as well as the domestic and international engineering projects and major achievements in the steel industry in recent years. Wu Dong pointed out that Shougang International, as a fully professional engineering technology company in the metallurgical industry, continuously innovates and develops models, promotes metallurgical engineering technology innovation and engineering application, provides professional engineering design and general contracting services for steel enterprises, and extends to both pre engineering consulting and post engineering technical services. Chairman Wu Liyun highly praised Maolong New Materials for its breakthrough innovation and huge contribution to HIsmelt smelting reduction technology, and expressed that Shougang International and Maolong New Materials have many points of convergence and great potential for cooperation. He hopes that both sides can leverage their respective advantages and unite their efforts to expand cooperation and achieve win-win development in the field of HIsmelt smelting reduction.

Fu Dong pointed out that in the face of the new normal of overcapacity and shrinking demand in the steel industry, the company is driving high-quality development transformation with innovation: promoting intelligent, digital, and green transformation in seamless steel pipes, casting, forging, and HIsmelt; Continuously extending, strengthening, and supplementing the chain at the product level, optimizing the high-end product structure, and creating a modern steel enterprise with core competitiveness through technological upgrading and transformation driven by two wheels. General Manager Guo Dong provided a detailed introduction to the upgrade and transformation of the HIsmelt smelting reduction process technology, as well as the production and operation of the factory. Mr. Guo pointed out that the HIsmelt process not only has four advantages: short process, low investment, strong adaptability of raw materials, excellent product quality, and significant environmental protection and emission reduction effects, but also has outstanding advantages such as high production efficiency and low production costs compared to traditional blast furnace smelting processes, which have been verified through technological upgrades and production practices. Maolong New Materials focuses on upgrading its process equipment to improve production efficiency and reduce production costs. After a period of 5 months, the upgraded equipment has been running stably for 30 days since its launch. All production economic and technical indicators have fully met the expectations of the upgraded equipment, and the main indicators have reached the best level in the world since the industrialization of HIsmelt technology. Mr. Guo expressed the hope that both parties can leverage their respective advantages to deepen cooperation in promoting the development of HIsmelt technology, and jointly explore new paths for green and high-quality development in the steel industry.

Chairman Fu Shigang pointed out that there is still a lot of room for improvement in HIsmelt technology. The company will continue to increase innovation, research and development, and investment from a strategic perspective to promote this short process ironmaking technology in the industry. Regarding this, Mao Qingwu, a second level scientist at Shougang, shared his technology and proposed to fully support the enterprise in theory, research and development, standards, promotion, and other aspects to jointly promote the high-quality development of HIsmelt technology.
